I am Mehrdad, a product designer from Ottawa.
My journey has been anything but traditional—driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a relentless pursuit of efficiency. My career started in procurement and supply chain management, where I spent over a decade optimizing workflows, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless operations in public transportation.
That realization led me to web design and programming, where I first developed a deep understanding of front-end development, responsive design, and system management. As I worked on digital interfaces, I became increasingly fascinated by how users interact with technology, which naturally led me to UX/UI design.
What sets me apart is my systems-thinking approach—I see products not just as screens but as experiences that must be functional, seamless, and business-aligned.
